General
- Language: the fourteen the app ships in, each in its own name.
- Log level: Errors only, Warnings, Normal, Debug, Everything. Normal is enough for most reports; Debug or Everything when a report asks for it, and the file grows faster.
- Magnetic timeline: whether deleting and trimming close the gap. The same switch is on the tray.
- Playhead: on, the playhead never leaves the content; off, a click on the ruler past the last clip lands it there.
- Downloads: where a model is fetched from first. Automatic, Concat’s mirror, a mirror for mainland China, the original source, or a custom URL of your own. Every other source is still tried after the one you pick.
Appearance
- Theme: Dark or Light. Dark is the default.
- Accent: Lime, Sky, Violet, Rose, Amber, Mint, or a Custom colour.
- Playhead: the colour of the line across the lanes.
Transcriber
The Whisper models that auto-captions use, one row each: Tiny, Base and Small, each in an English and a Multilingual variant, with a line on what it is good for, accuracy pips and the size. Download fetches one; Remove deletes it; clicking an installed row makes it the one In use. Under the list: what is installed and how much disk it takes, and “Runs locally”. See the AI models.
Speech
The voice models that text to speech uses: Chatterbox Turbo (studio), Pocket TTS (cloning), Kokoro (compact) and Kokoro (full precision), with the same Download, Remove and In use controls.
Remote
Serves the Concat API while the window is open, so a script or another program can create, edit and export projects of its own. A Remote control switch, an Address (127.0.0.1 is this machine only; any other address is reachable from the network and needs the token), and a Token that a connection must present before its first call, with Show, Hide and New. The developer docs cover what to send it. Not on phones.
Version
The installed version and whether a newer release exists, with Check for updates. Switch version lists every release from 0.2.5 on, newer or older, and Install puts the one you pick in this one’s place. See update Concat. Not on phones.
About
The version, Show the log and Copy system information, then the facts a bug report needs: application, build, engine, operating system, processor, graphics, renderer, toolchain. See report a problem.
